Gardner-Webb University 59, Liberty University 68

December 7, 2008

I spoke too soon about the dawgs when I said there were on a roll. If you look on the Gardner-Webb Univeristy Athletic Website you see label for the Men’s Basketball team labeled as tired therefore leading them to lose against to Liberty University this afternoon. At the beginning of Halftime from what I saw was the fact that the dawgs had the lead. What happened coach? This is something that should be proclaimed. anyways if you haven’t notice the bulldogs lost by fifteen points this afternoon to the liberty flames. came out shooting darts in the early going, going up 29-20 with 7:10 to play before halftime and then the laziness, I mean tiredness settled in cause the dawgs to have lousy shooting and the flames to excel gain and eventually bypass the dawgs.

But I can understand that they are tired and they have had a road trip to Radford and now Liberty and then next week Witchia state then Western Carolina. Goo Luck dawgs and hope that everything goes well.

Gardner-Webb 91, Radford University 71

December 6, 2008

The Bulldogs are on a roll. I am quiet surprised for this outcome. I am not a bulldogs hater, I just thought the bulldogs were heading for the  tubes after losing 4 games straight. It could have been the fact that the previous teams weren’t in the Big South Conference and Radford University. But radford was 2-3 before this game. Alas, this maybe a positive for the bulldogs knowing that they can work harder, and they have to trust in themselves. Not just the leading point scorers, we have to be chill. Now that the bulldogs in the conference are now 1-0 they have a lot to prove to not only the school but to the conference. Don’t let us down dawgs.

As I write this The bulldogs are playing Liberty Univeristy in the second half down by two… I will get you the final score at the end of the half.

Gardner-Webb 74, UVA-Wise 47

November 30, 2008

Is this a dream?  Is this an early Christmas Miracle? Or Am I still in Turkey Coma? I need to be pinched because Gardnner-Webb won its first Basketball game, and it was the HOMEOPENER! Great job guys. Let’s keep the hope alive!

Seeing this with my own two eyes, I must say that this game against University of Virginia-Wise was a hard fought game. The boys were on their toes. They rebounded every ball possible, and the points just kept on coming. I must say that I am excited to see the team go on and contine this winning streak, but hey, you never know. Good Job boys! The next game the bulldogs will play is away in their first conference match at Radford Universtiy.

Good Luck
